Honest Review: Is Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos Worth It?

Room Review

During my stay at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, I booked a deluxe king room with a partial ocean and pool view. It offered beautiful scenery without the higher price of a full oceanfront room.

The decor felt slightly dated, but the room stayed spotless and well-maintained throughout the trip. The space included a king-size bed, mini fridge, and a large bathroom with both a bathtub and separate shower. While the design was not ultra-modern, the room felt relaxing and comfortable.

Pools and Atmosphere

The pools became one of my favorite parts of the resort. The heated infinity pool overlooked the ocean and provided incredible views. A swim-up bar made it easy to grab drinks without leaving the water, and the resort always had plenty of lounge chairs available. Even though certain sections catered to club members, we still found more than enough space to relax.

Pool staff provided full food and drink service throughout the day, and a nearby grill served casual snacks and lunch options. One of the best surprises came when staff walked around offering complimentary popsicles, which felt especially refreshing in the Cabo heat.

Food and Dining

The resort also features an on-site Starbucks, although drinks there cost extra. For breakfast, we usually visited the buffet because it offered a wide variety of options and made mornings easy. At lunchtime, we often stayed by the pool and ordered from the poolside grill to keep the day relaxed.

For dinner, we tried several à la carte restaurants, including Italian cuisine, sushi, and Blue, the resort’s signature restaurant. Overall, the food impressed us with both quality and variety. Beyond the restaurants themselves, the atmosphere truly stood out. The combination of mountains, ocean views, and evening lights created a beautiful setting every night.

Entertainment and Overall Experience

The entertainment added a fun and lively energy to the resort. Guests could enjoy live music near the fire pits, relax at the lobby bar, or visit the nightclub for nightlife entertainment. Although I did not personally visit the club, it seemed popular in the evenings.Families also had plenty of activities to enjoy. The resort offered movie nights, arts and crafts, and other kid-friendly entertainment throughout the stay.

Overall, we had a great experience at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. The staff delivered excellent service, and the scenery made the resort feel unforgettable.
