I am Britney Griffin! I have been a fulltime assistant for the owner of Barefoot Bridal since August of 2025! I got married to my husband in March of 2025, in our small hometown. The venues in my hometown ranged from $4,000-$8,000, and that did not include anything other than the bridal suite! That’s right – no food, no DJ, NOTHING! I also needed to find affordable, safe hotel accommodations for my relatives who were coming in from out of state. The total cost I was looking at was over $20,000 for BASIC things! My husband and I have two small children under the age of two, so spending our money wisely is extremely important to us. With that in mind, we decided to just go to a local park with our children and have a small ceremony together (no guests were invited because they were going to charge us for that).
Since my job required me to work so closely with Sharon, I got to watch her help her brides from start to finish. By the end of the process, I noticed the brides invoices were showing balances that just seemed too low… on top of that, they submitted blogs, reviews, and photos and earned a lot of cash back. I sat down with Sharon and asked how these weddings were so affordable, and why all of her brides were so happy and appeared stress free – because I did NOT feel that way when I tried to plan mine here in our hometown. Sharon explained how much fun having a destination wedding was, the benefits of booking through Barefoot Bridal, and how the brides were getting their moneys worth on core memories with their family and friends. I sat down with my husband and discussed the process… I ended up asking Sharon to be my travel advisor and scheduled my destination wedding for April 2026!! We are beyond excited and even though Barefoot Bridal is my employer, I also used them for everything! Going through this process showed me how much fun this experience is!! I fell in love with the experience, and the thought of other brides not knowing this is an option is just unacceptable!! I want to help other brides experience the fun, the core memories, and the excitement! I am now not only Sharon’s assistant, but I am a full-time travel advisor! <3
