Dreams Jade is unassuming. At the price point, you might think you’re not getting much, but it’ll pleasantly surprise you.
The vibe is tropical, relaxed, and family-friendly. The buildings are a little older, but the resort is kept clean and lush, with a jungle-meets-ocean vibe that makes for great wedding photos. You’re not getting sleek modern architecture, but you’re getting solid service, tons of food options, a swimmable beach, and huge guest rooms (Junior Suites start at over 700 sq ft) that many higher-end resorts would envy.
Preferred Club upgrades give access to a quieter pool and premium drinks, but aren’t necessary for most guests.
Food at Dreams Jade is above average for this price point. There’s a buffet, French, Mexican, Asian, and Italian restaurants, plus a coffee shop, beach grill, and more. It’s not gourmet, but it’s good and plentiful. Bonus: no reservations required at à la cartes.
Service is where this resort quietly shines. Your guests will be well cared for, and the spa (especially the hydrotherapy circuit) is a hidden gem.
The beach is one of the most underrated in this price range. It is wide with soft, white sand and generally swimmable depending on the season. It’s a big perk for those who want that Caribbean beach turquoise waters, white sand.
The wedding team is experienced, responsive, and on top of every little detail.
Dreams Jade offers a range of venues: beach, garden, gazebo, and even a pier, plus indoor backup options. The Pergola is just dreamy and one of my favorites if you’re looking for an outdoor venue with a full ocean backdrop and shade. Most couples choose the pergola on the beach or the garden gazebo surrounded by tropical greenery.
For the most part, all the Dreams resorts have the same packages around the same price points. Dreams Jade is no different.
