“Dial for Love”
Our story began when Sanjare’s sister went to Lamont’s workplace to purchase a car. Being the inquisitive and outgoing person she was, she came to complete two sales that day.

Steph always felt that her sister deserves to experience and share her happiness with a loving partner. Poor Lamont didn’t realize he would be her target that day. After some vetting process since she knows her sister well, and not much convincing after she showed him her picture, she persuaded Lamont to take down Sanjare’s phone number and to reach out to her. After all, it was just a phone call.

However, Lamont was at the stage of his life where he was enjoying his peace and quiet, so he wasn’t necessarily searching for someone to share his life with. Little did he know, Sanjare also shared the same sentiments and was unaware of her own sister’s shenanigans.

He did not call her for a few days unbeknownst to Steph. But when Steph inquired from Sanjare and found out he had yet to call, she was upset. Sanjare was delighted as she did not know this mystery man nor cared to get to know someone at this moment in her life. She was also enjoying her peace and quiet. However, Steph’s tenacity led her to reach out to him and said the infamous words (per Lamont) that finally him prompted to call the mystery lady “she could be the one.”

Lamont then called Sanjare that evening and they spoke for a few hours effortlessly over the phone. He then invited her out to a dinner date the following night and the rest is history.

We weren’t searching nor looking for love but we became best of friends right away sharing a mutual love of kindness, respect, love sprinkled with some mischief and sarcastic humor.
