Brides are always telling us that they’re looking for a resort that is modern and updated while showcasing the destination they chose. They want that wow factor for their guests the moment the guests step into the lobby. And Secrets Baby Beach Aruba checks all those boxes.
Secrets Baby Beach Aruba completely wowed me from the moment I stepped foot in the open-air lobby and took in the most beautiful Caribbean blue waters. Immediately, I knew this was going to be a special stay.

Secrets Baby Beach is located in Baby Beach, Aruba, which means you fly into Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA). You can set up transportation in advance or rent a car if you want to explore the island (which is what we did!). This is currently the only hotel on Baby Beach which has pros and cons. Most resorts are in Palm Beach or Eagle Beach, which is also where most of the restaurants are located, but with the amazing food included with your stay (more on that later), this isn’t really a con in my opinion. Baby Beach is at most 40 minutes from the main resort areas in Aruba and around a 30 minute drive from the airport.

Renting a car allowed us to drive around the island, taking in the gorgeous views from all over, and make it to see the famous lighthouse, California Lighthouse.

Aruba has a completely different feel than Mexico or most of the islands in the Caribbean I’ve already been to, including the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. Think desert-meets-ocean, with cacti, warm tones, and that signature crystal clear, turquoise water Aruba is known for.

I stayed here for 4 nights in September 2025, and it felt luxe, elevated, and absolutely worth the price from start to finish.
The overall vibe is social while relaxed. There are activities throughout the day at the main pool, entertainment in the evenings, and plenty of quiet pools and spaces to just hang out and relax, if you’re looking for that instead.
The aesthetic is a modern desert oasis, with clean architecture, cacti throughout the property, and gorgeous open spaces. The open-air lobby was one of my favorite touches and really set the tone for the entire resort. The grounds are so beautiful. The landscaping is on point. No matter where you turn, everything is stunning and aesthetically pleasing.

The beach is one of the biggest highlights, but also where expectations need to be set properly. The water is stunning. Clear, bright turquoise, and definitely swimmable (no question!). It reminded me of the water in the Bahamas. The sand is soft and white, too. The resort’s beach access is a public beach (which is true for most resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean) and you do cross a small road to get there.

Because of that, the setup is a bit different than what you might expect from a traditional all inclusive. There aren’t the same plush loungers, shade is limited, and beach service is more casual, with coolers rather than full-service setups. While the beach itself is beautiful, the experience is a little less elevated than the rest of the resort.

The pools scream luxe. There’s a main activity pool, an infinity pool, and a Preferred Club pool, plus swim-out rooms throughout the property. The pools are gorgeous, the infinity pool is amazing, but the Preferred Club pool area stole the show. I don’t always think the upgrade to the Preferred Club is worth it, but in this case, it definitely was.
We stayed in a Preferred Club Junior Suite Swim Out. Having the Swim Out was one of my favorite parts of the stay. The swim-out connects to multiple rooms, which made it feel social and fun, but it was never crowded. We had 3 rooms all connecting to the same Swim Out which made it so fun to hang out in the pool all day together.

The rooms are gorgeous, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I loved the cacti décor on the wall. It was a small touch that reminded me we’re in Aruba. The bathroom felt private and well laid out; the overall design matched the modern, elevated aesthetic of the resort.

The mini bar and amenities were top notch, exactly what you’d expect at this price point. Everything felt high quality and well maintained.

The food here is truly exceptional.
This is one of the all inclusive resorts where I would confidently give the food an A+. Everything was fresh, high quality, and consistently delicious.
The buffet for breakfast and lunch was fantastic. Oceana had great seafood. Tierra was my absolute favorite for dinner. And surprisingly, even though I usually hate the Italian restaurants at an all inclusive resort, even Portofino was excellent.

We also did the teppanyaki experience. The chef was fun, and the food was not overly heavy or greasy like it can be at other resorts or even at hibachi restaurants back home.

The drinks were equally impressive. Strong, well-made, and not watered down, which always makes a difference.
Service was fantastic in that the employees definitely went above and beyond for us, were friendly and warm, and genuinely got to know us, even with some inside jokes, but it is a bit slower pace, which is typical for Aruba.
Aruba is known for its consistent trade winds and you will feel them here and all over the island. The upside is that it keeps the weather really comfortable; I never felt like it was over 90 degrees which was likely due to a combination of the winds and lack of humidity. Something to consider about the wind though is that it can impact things like hair, veils, and ceremony setup. Wedding planners on the island are accustomed to the wind and know how to ensure your décor stays in place. And the resort’s wedding team have a plan for the brides, too – just swap sides and the wind blows the bride’s veil beautifully behind her.

Secrets Baby Beach is perfect for the bride who wants both a stunning Aruba wedding at an adults-only all inclusive and to give her guests the experience worth traveling for. The resort is gorgeous, the food is exceptional, the water is some of the best you’ll see in the Caribbean, and the overall experience feels elevated from start to finish.
They’ve already broken ground on an expansion that will add approximately 300 additional Secrets rooms, and a Dreams property is being built next door, expected to open around 2027. I’m so excited for this and I’ll definitely be posting updates here or on our social media as soon as we get more information.
I loved this resort. Truly.
Between the design, the food, the water, and the overall feel, it’s one of those places that stands out. I cannot wait to go back. And, I’d recommend it to any wedding couple looking for an adults only all inclusive in Aruba, hands down.
