Our Love Story
Our Love Story
Josh and I have been crossing paths for decades and probably just never knew it. We grew up in the same area, graduated the same year in 2010 (different schools), and even had some mutual friends. Josh would tell you that his love story started one night at Zazou and it involved pig tails and a Reds jersey. He was with our mutual close friend, Dustin and then was over at my house every chance that he could get from there. My love story started shortly after this, when I came home from a girl’s night and Josh was over with my roommates. Instead of partaking in the party, he hung out with me on the couch and gave me a foot massage because I said my feet were hurting from wearing heels.
Our adventures were just beginning. We explored the city, took shuttles to the banks and drank margaritas on random Sundays, and even got broadcasted on live news. Our short fun friendship soon blossomed into a serious relationship. Josh asked me to be his girlfriend the night of the Bengals Ravens game (10/9/23). I told him to “ask me tomorrow” because I wanted to make sure he was being serious, LOL. He asked me again first thing that next morning. 8 Months later, we bought our first house together.
Two years later (10/12/24), Josh took me to our favorite date spot at Mamas on Main for our anniversary. I was not expecting a proposal and even invited my best friend Lauren and her husband Joe, to join in on our date. He proposed on the rooftop and I, of course, said “YES!”. The night was perfect and ended with a surprise party with all our closest friends and family at Zazou (where it all began).
Now, we’re planning our wedding, and we’re thrilled to have you join us as we say, “I do!”

Stay Hydrated. Drink plenty of bottled water. Stick to bottled water, as tap water is not recommended for drinking.
Pack High-SPF Sunblock. And apply it regularly, especially after swimming or sweating, to protect your skin from sunburn. Bring a hat and sunglasses for extra protection.
Bring Cash for Tips. Tipping is customary in Riviera Maya, and having cash on hand is convenient for tipping hotel staff, tour guides, airport transfer drivers, and restaurant servers.
Prepare Digital Back-Ups. Check your passport expiration date, take a photo of it and download the travel documents you will receive to your phone to access even without cell service or WiFi.
Call Your Cell Company. Inform them of your trip in advance and ask about international plans to avoid unexpected roaming charges and ensure your phone will work abroad.
