Kavin and Alexis story began in high school when they first met through the Firefighter Explorer Program, where Alexis was Kavin’s boss. Kavin thought Alexis was the biggest nerd, while Alexis saw Kavin as a troublemaker. Because of this, they didn’t interact much back then, and after Kavin left the program, they lost contact completely.

In February 2022, they reconnected when they started the fire academy together. Not knowing many people, they naturally gravitated toward each other as familiar faces. As they worked through the challenges of the academy—like long training days and difficult assessments—they supported each other and became best friends.

Since then, they have been inseperable. Their bond has grown through shared experiences. They’ve traveled, gone skydiving, started jiujitsu, attended concerts, and shared countless adventures. Now, they’re excited for the future and can’t wait to tie the knot with their closest family and friends.
